Austin Ranks High in Education

Austin was ranked by CNN Money as the sixth Smartest City in America in 2010. This can be attributed to excellent schools present within its fence. In the international perspective, the University of Texas in Austin was in the 67th spot on the World’s Best Universities. This is based on a research conducted by the U.S. News and World Report. Meanwhile, the Economist ranks it 49th worldwide. Because of these impressive rankings, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the enrollees to this university reach as high as 50,000.

The elementary and secondary schools in Austin are also highly-rated. There are plenty of public, private and charter schools where children can be enrolled. Austin also has many child developmental institutions to it which include the Central Texas Autism Center and the Johnson Center for Child Health and Development.
