IF+D is hosting "A Sketchy Art Show" on February 22nd starting at 6:30 p.m.
A celebration of all things urban and sketchy, featured inside IF+D will be local art "off the canvas": ink, marker, pencil, charcoal, etc. sketches and drawings. Conceived to give artists from all walks of life a place to collaborate, the event hopes to throw together guests from all different races, incomes and backgrounds.
Outside will be LIVE graffiti art demonstrations by local artists. A silent auction will accompany the live graffiti pieces to benefit the artists.
Internationally known and Austin’s own DJ Chicken George will be spinning the beats and break dancers from around the city will be showing off their skills.
Local car dealership Champion Scion of Austin is sponsoring the event and will have a new car on display for public viewing.
Everyone is welcome to come join in the celebration of everything sketchy and urban!
