More Award-Winning Austin Designers!

Austin Designer is on Fire!

Local interior designer Kasey McCarty sure won a lot of awards from the American Society of Interior Designers Austin Chapter in the 2009 Design Excellence Awards on Nov. 6, 2009. From checking out her portfolio, it's easy to see why!

Awesome Local Holiday Gift Event with Shop787!

Wondering where you're going to find your holiday gifts this year? Want to buy local but not sure where to look? Don't really have the time to go to a million stores? Lucky for you, there's a fabulous solution, and it's called Shop787!


On Sunday, November 8, 2009 from Noon to 6:00 pm, join the fabulous Launch787 and find over 50 local boutiques, designers, artists, salons and more to help you shop locally, affordably and all in one place! Vendors like 302 Designs, *annemarie*, Eliza Page, Finch, Hem Jeans, Izzy and Ash, Sanctuary, Underwear and many, many more will be in attendance!


Not some stuffy event in a conference room, Shop787 is taking place at the lovely Mosaic at Mueller apartment community and you'll be able to enjoy the Texas Fall(-ish) weather while you browse local vendors sprinkled around the community's courtyards.


AND not only will there be fabulous gifts to check out, there will also be access to the food court and free beverages (did we mention Tito's Vodka and Sweet Leaf Tea will be in attendance?)


And the super BEST part of this event? You'll even be helping out kids over at Dell Children’s Hospital when you bring a new book to donate to their book drive.
Advance tickets are just $5 (and will be given line priority). Day-of tickets are $10 (or $5 if you bring a book for the Dell Children’s Hospital). Kids under the age of 12 get in free.
