I need a vintage suitcase, STAT
Will you take a look at this adorable chair and ottoman made of old suitcases? Eeek! I can't testify to the comfortableness (or even its sturdiness) but I can guarantee its cute factor. I spotted this photo in Jennifer Perkins' awesome post about other suitcase conversions!

Sunday Suppers
This is totally not Austin-related, however I'm absolutely smitten with the ideas and photographs on this blog, Sunday Suppers. Besides, we have Sundays and eat in Austin, don't we?

Tiny, itty bitty announcement...
So, when I first started this blog almost two years ago (boy time flies) I didn't know what the heck I was doing (still don't, in a lot of ways!). All I knew is I wanted to showcase all the AMAZING creativity there is Austin. I have never been so inspired in my entire life, and it's all because of my move to this great city. I hope that in these months I've managed to inspire some of you out there, too. Maybe I've shown you a design or an artist you had never heard of before, or maybe even still I showcased your work or your designs.
The times though, they are a changing, and it's clear to me that the dinky little blog I've been running all these months won't really cut it for the future. I don't want to give too much away this early, since we're still a bit of ways off, but I'd like you all to be the first to know that an All Things Austin Design blog re-launch is in the VERY near future. We're talking a new look, better content, giveaways, contests, you name it. I'm even going to be recruiting other creative types out there to contribute more regularly to the blog.
So what can you do for me? Well, you can give me your ideas---your complaints, your comments, your suggestions for what you'd like to see on the blog (or what you'd like to see less) so that I can start sculpting a new blog that fits your needs. Think you'd like to contribute to the blog in some way in the future? Let me know! I'm open to all sorts of ideas. You tell me what you'd like to see on this blog, and I will try my very best to deliver!
